A SENIOR officer from the Fiji Police Force has been sent on leave following allegations of corrupt practices.
In a statement, police said the Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has directed the officer be placed on leave to allow for the verification of information relating to the allegation.
“The investigation is regarding an allegation of an incident that occurred some time in 2024, that investigators are trying to verify,” the statement read.
“Investigation are ongoing.”
