THE Prasad’s Timber Supplies Ltd–sponsored Mixed Tamavua Triples concluded yesterday at the Suva Bowling Club.
The competition marked the commencement of the Suva Bowling club’s 2026 lawns bowl season.
The winning team, Michael Fong (Lead), Shiwal Chand (Second), and Ramesh Chand (Skip), recovered strongly after losing their opening match.
The trio demonstrated discipline, composure, and teamwork to record victories in their remaining three matches.
The win provides valuable preparation ahead of the National Triples and the national team trials on January 31-February 1 at the Suva Bowling Club.
With the upcoming Commonwealth Games the trio are anticipating a tough outing at the nationals.
