Chiefs from Ra province marched through Rakiraki town this morning, calling for a dissolution of the 2013 Constitution.
The Fiji Police Force and Fiji Roads Authority approved todays public march.
The march was the result of a resolution by chiefs at their recent Bose Vanua.
The march was led by Vanua head and Tu Ko Navitilevu, Ratu Emori Bolobolo.
A letter addressed to the Prime Minister was also handed over to the Provincial Administrators office.
There was heavy police presence in the town during the march, with officers from outside the district brought in to maintain security.
The march ended without any incident.
