THE excitement and the passion of young female rugby players on the pitch is something Oceania Rugby’s competition manager Lemalu Wayne Schuster is looking forward to when the 2026 Oceania Women’s XV Rugby Championship kicks off.
With the competition just two weeks away, the enthusiasm shown by the three teams of Fiji, Samoa and Tonga has been an endearing sight for Schuster and his team, as they apply the finishing touches to a rugby spectacle uniting the three sides here.
“I look very much forward to the excitement and the passion that the girls bring and have always brought since the inception of these tournaments there,” Schuster expressed.
He added he was also looking forward to the fellowship and camaraderie fostered between the teams and rugby players they would meet in schools and the community.
