Schools up title bid – Hopes high for national quarter-finalists in annual tournament

The Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League Association will have its national quarter-finals of the under-15 and U17 grades this Saturday at the St Marcellin Primary School grounds at Vatuwaqa, Suva.

In the U15 grade, Marist Brothers High School will tussle with Shreedar Maharaj College of Wainibokasi near Nausori Town in the first quarter-final.

Nasinu Secondary School will take on Lelean Memorial School in the second quarter-final and Queen Victoria School will clash with newcomers Naiyala Secondary School in the third quarter-final while Ratu Kadavulevu School will face Sila Central College in the last quarter-final.

In the U17 grade, Queen Victoria School will battle Suva Grammar School in the first quarter-final.

Marist Brothers High School will face Sila Central College in the second quarter-final while Nasinu Secondary School will play Namosi Secondary School in the third quarter-final.

Ratu Kadavulevu School will close the quarter-finals facing Lomaivuna High School. Pool games will continue in the U19 grade with Nasinu Secondary School taking on John Wesley College and Lelean Memorial School playing Naitasiri Secondary School.

There will be two Tanoa Challenge matches in the U19 grade with Nabua Secondary School challenging Ratu Kadavulevu School and Assemblies of God High School playing Queen Victoria School.
