A primary school teacher is expected to appear in court in Labasa today.
This has been confirmed by the Fiji Police Force.
This is in relation to an incident that occurred two Fridays ago, where a student was allegedly hit by the vehicle she was driving.
The student, from Labasa Sangam Primary School, was reportedly using a zebra crossing around 3pm when the incident occurred.
She has been charged with a count of count of dangerous driving and reckless and negligent act.
More details are expected to emerge as the case is heard in court today.
