McDonald’s Saunaka has once again caused an upset in the 12th McDonald’s Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s.
The Nadi club stunned the Fiji Babaas 14-7 in their last pool game at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Yesterday, Saunaka also surprised the crowd, defeating Tabadamu 14-0.
They rattled the shadow Fiji side right from the first whistle scoring two unanswered tries in the first half,
Ropate Rere showed his potential in the second spell to pull one back for Fiji but Saunaka maintained the momentum and physicality to come away as victors.
In another surprising result, Devo Babas defeated New Zealand development 28-19.
