The Ministry of Health has engaged the services of an international partner for possible medical examination of the conjoined twins born at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital two months ago.
In response to questions sent, the ministry said the twins have been discharged from CWM Hospital and remained in good health.
“We are pleased to report that the patients have been successfully discharged home in stable condition,” the ministry stated.
“Our focus remains on their ongoing recovery, and we will continue to monitor their progress.
“Additionally, we look forward to further clinical discussions next week with our colleagues from the Saudi Arabia team to ensure the best outcomes moving forward.”
The ministry stated that doctors would continue to visit the twins for medical assessments.
