THE Miss Fiji Pageant had a vibrant showcase of talent and culture as contestants took to the stage for the Talent and Sarong categories on Thursday evening.
The night began on a warm and uplifting note with a powerful performance by the Dolce Dulali Group, setting an inspiring atmosphere for the first round of public judging.
Contestants later moved into the Talent Category, where they displayed creativity, skill, and their own interpretations of the communities they represent.
Miss Labasa Peggy Ravusiro stood out with an innovative and bold piece that reflected the vibrant spirit of the Friendly North, while Miss Lautoka Lebaiwasa Wakawaka brought a strong and commanding stage presence that resonated with Sugar City’s identity.
A more artistic and emotional delivery was offered by Miss Nadi Alumeci Davu, revealing a different side of her abilities, while Miss Nausori Bernadeta Waqavanua captivated the audience with a fierce, energetic performance.
A heartfelt and culturally grounded presentation by Miss Rakiraki Shrdha Mala drew warm applause, and Miss Suva Rhyelle Aisea impressed with a refined and confident act reflecting the capital’s cultural richness.
Miss Tavua Sera Kiawe brought a deeply personal performance rooted in identity and heritage, while Miss Nasinu Ailava Samuels surprised audiences with her versatility, transitioning from traditional attire to a striking aerial routine.
The Sarong Category later highlighted the grace, poise, and confidence of all contestants as they appeared before the judges for the first time.
Each candidate used the segment to honour the character of their municipality—whether through Labasa’s calm confidence, Lautoka’s warmth, Nadi’s vibrant flair, or Rakiraki’s Suncoast pride.
Suva, Tavua, Nausori, and Nasinu also delivered strong presentations, each contestant showing composure and commitment as they move forward in the competition.
The pageant continued on Friday night with the Traditionally Inspired Costumes segment before the crowning of Miss Fiji 2025 tonight.
