TISI Sangam Fiji’s chief executive officer Jai Narayan has provided an update on two major construction projects underway for the organisation, including the $8million Sangam Complex in Nadi.

Mr Narayan detailed the scale and facilities of the complex, to be built next to the iconic Hindu temple in Nadi.

”One of the projects is the Sangam complex, it is $8million, next to the temple, which has a 800 capacity conference hall,” he said.

“There are five outlets for the office, and we have got eight accommodation units for guests and the TISI Sangam head office.

“We have also got accommodation units for the priests that are based at the Nadi temple. So that’s one of the major capital works that is going on and then, of course, there are building projects that are carried out in Labasa Sangam College of Nursing.”

Mr Narayan confirmed the completion of one phase of the Sangam College of Nursing in Labasa with plans underway for the next stage.

”So one building has been completed, which is the lecture hall and for the other building, we are in the process of awarding the contracts for that.”

Mr Narayan said both major works were on schedule.

”We are anticipating that the Sangam complex in Nadi will be completed, at least by February 2026, and of course, the Labasa project, the lecture hall has completed.

“The next building that is coming up, which is an extension to the current building, we are in the process of awarding the contract, so that should take another 10 to 12 months to complete.”
