National swimming representative Cheyenne Rova has been elected to the World Aquatics Athletes Committee.

In her election, she joins a committee of swimmers from Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe along with a male Oceania representative from the Cook Islands, Wesley Tikiariki Roberts.
The election period for the committee opened on July 5 and closed at 12pm Central European Time (2am Fiji time).
