The military, led by former Prime Minister and military commander Voreqe Bainimarama presented their ireguregu to the late Ratu Epeli Ganilau’s family at Vuniduva, Somosomo in Taveuni this morning.
Deputy Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces (DCRFMF), Commodore (Cmdre) Humphrey Tawake said they represented the Chief Commander Ratu Wiliame Katonivere and together they thanked the Ganilau family for raising a great son who led the military at one time.
He said Ratu Epeli was a leader they could trust and confide in.
Ratu Epeli will be laid to rest today in Vuniduva after the church service at the village Methodist Church.
