THE first Christmas carols CD recording by the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces brass band will be launched and made available to the public from next week.
A statement by the RFMF said the CD would be launched at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel on Monday and would feature 15 carols for the festive season.
“The recording, which was done at the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation studio, features 15 Christmas carols.
CDs will be sold during the launching ceremony and be available for sale at Suva Central.
“Demand for the discs are high, especially for citizens living overseas,” the media release stated.
The RFMF band was part of three international engagements this year, beginning in February during the Edinburgh Tattoo in Scotland then in Melbourne, Australia, and Wellington, New Zealand. In May, the military band was invited to be part of The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations in London, England.
