Taveuni and Rewa have booked their places in this season’s Skipper Cup competition after finishing as the top teams in their respective qualification pools.
Taveuni sealed top spot in the Northern Pool with a convincing 27-19 victory over Macuata, while Rewa claimed the Viti Levu Pool title after edging Northland 9-8 in a closely contested encounter today.
Both sides produced consistent performances throughout the campaign to earn promotion to Fiji Rugby’s premier provincial competition and will now look to make their mark in the upcoming Skipper Cup season.
