Rewa House scooped the coveted Druavesi Trophy of the 2025 QVSOB Druavesi Golf Tournament, held recently at the Fiji Golf Club in Suva.
It won the trophy after attaining 116 points and was made up of two teams; Rewa One and Rewa Two.
Team one included Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, Tomasi Tuitoga, Trevor Nainoca and Jiujiu Leca while team two had Alipate Vosaicake, Tupou Leca, DA Echo and Serevi Vanalagi.
In second place, Verata House finished with 118.125 points, Tovata House in third with 127.875 and Bau House with 129.125 points.
In the overall competition, Grammar Lions earned first place with a score of 55.38 and was made up of players Sikipio Fihaki, Laisa Digitaki, Masi Naupoto and Samu Ratubuli.
Marist Two came in second with 55.875, made up by Greg Browne, George Nacewa, Alisi Nacewa and Soni Malani.
In third, Rewa Two, made up of Vosaicake, Leca, Vanalagi and Echo, finished with 56.75 points.
A record 92 participants across 23 teams took part in the 32nd edition of the one-day tournament.
Meanwhile, participant and Queen Victoria School alumni Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka commended the tournament for its broader vision of unity and nation-building.
“The tournament is a QVSOB initiative, its expansion to include other alumni schools reflects a broader vision of unity and nation-building” he said.
He has also encouraged greater participation in the future especially from the spouses and families of the alumni, as a platform to inspire old scholars to contribute to the development of the country.
“This tournament is more than just golf – it’s a platform for former students to reconnect, share ideas, and contribute to the development of our beloved Fiji.”
Meanwhile, there were eight teams from the QVSOB, six from the Marist Old Boys, five from the Suva Grammar School Old Scholars, and one each from the old scholars of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School, Adi Cakobau School, Natabua High School and Labasa College.
