Fijian Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says visitor arrivals for the first three months since the border opened on December 1, 2021, are approximately 50,000 — over than a thousand per cent more than one year ago.

While delivering the Revised 2021-2022 National Budget in Parliament last night, he said the Government was ready to remove the three-night stay requirement upon entry into Fiji.

He said from April 7, fully-vaccinated visitors, residents and citizens would only need to conduct a rapid antigen COVID-19 test within 24 hours of arrival in the country at an approved testing facility.

A full list of the locations will be published online.
