Fiji Airports has restricted parking and terminal access at the Labasa Airport as refurbishment works get underway.

A statement from the authority said that this would happen from today until June 16, 2024.

“To ensure the safety and efficiency of the construction works, we are only allowing passengers into the terminal area during this period,” Fiji Airports said.

“Additionally, overnight parking at the airport premises will not be permitted during this time. Vehicles found parked overnight will be towed outside the airport premises at the owner’s costs and risks.”

“Fiji Airports management kindly requests the understanding and cooperation of all passengers, visitors, and stakeholders during this period of restricted access and parking.”

It said that these measures were necessary to facilitate the runway works enduring safety and security of all airport users.

“We apologize for any inconvenience these temporary restrictions may cause and appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and efficient airport environment for all.”
