MEMBERS of the national 7s team had a rest day yesterday after a hectic scrimmage session with the England 7s team on Tuesday.
Skipper Osea Kolinisau joined other team captains for the captains’ photo session while new reps Nacanieli Labalaba and Mesulame Kunavula were involved with community events organised by tournament organisers.
Kunavula and Labalaba joined other players from Russia, Australia and USA for the ASB Sports Centre in Kilbirnie Sevens Celebration Day
Around 100 kids from around Wellington took part in the skills and drills practices.
The All Blacks 7s team met Cure Kids Ambassadors and their families, had lunch and a special guided tour of the zoo.
Meanwhile, the national 7s players will have their last training run today in the last phase of preparation before the start of the 2017 HSBC Wellingtons 7s tomorrow.
