Malolo Island Resort was again voted the ‘Best Kids Club of Nannies in Fiji’ by Australian families this year.

This recognition was published by the Out & About With Kids (OAWK), a family travel magazine in its 13th Readers Choice Awards.

This most recent recognition was nominations from well-travelled families around Australia for the best local and international family resorts, holiday parks, family attractions, ski resorts, overall destinations, cruises and road trips and of course, kids clubs.

Ahura Resorts managing director Tony Whitton said Malolo was thrilled to be the shining star of the Fiji Islands in this category for the second time.

“We are delighted and honoured to win this award again and to be recognised by the OAWK readers and our past guests,” he said.

“As a 100 per cent Fijian owned resort, the Malolo team takes particular pride in ensuring all guests and families experience the magic of Malolo and the “real” Fiji in their own unique and special way — and none more so, than in our kids club.”

Malolo’s Tia’s Treehouse Kids Club has created a program which immerses kids to enjoy a rather fun, innovative and educational way of Fijian island life, including a focus on the environment, the culture and the history of Malolo and Fiji in general.

With a different theme each day, some of the day activities include focus on herbal medicine and endangered species, fish feeding, iguana and other fauna talks, traditional costume making and face painting, Fijian language lessons, Fijian childhood games and much more.

Malolo Island Resort has also been a long-time favourite for families and couples alike, and over the years has welcomed back tens of thousands of return visitors.
