The Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island in the Mamanuca Group is currently closed for business.

While not revealing the details, Cluster Director of Marketing, Sera Cawanibuka said this was due to infrastructural damage related to the recent inclement weather patterns across Fiji.

The resort has been closed since March 24. “Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji sustained infrastructural damage that requires immediate maintenance,” she said.

“Our focus is on ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests and associates on the Island.

“We are presently relocating guests and associates to alternate accommodations, hence, we’re unable to accept new bookings and will close temporarily whilst necessary maintenance takes place.”

The resort was extensively damaged in 2016 by Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston and reopened almost one year later after a $25 million refurbishment.

It is situated on a 35-acre beachfront property in the south-western corner of Tokoriki Island.
