Guests and staff members of Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort & Sheraton Denarau Villas celebrated the resort’s Christmas tree lighting on Thursday night.

The occasion had the full effect of a festive season with guests treated to Christmas carols and entertainment by the Vatulevu church choir of Narewa Village.

Multi-property vice president Pacific Islands Marriott International, general manager Westin and Sheraton Resorts Neeraj Chadha said the re-opening of international borders a year ago was instrumental to reviving the toursim industry.

“We are grateful for our business partners who supported us through the pandemic,” he said.

Mr Chadha also acknowledged their loyal guests as their arrival into the country re-created employment opportunities for many Fijians.

“Thank you for coming back and trusting in us. I would like to wish everyone merry Christmas and happy holidays.”
