THE Hilton properties in Fiji successfully executed their careers fair last week.

Hosted by Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Fiji, Sonasali Island, the event was designed to introduce young Fijians to the dynamic and rewarding world of hospitality.

Officiating at the event, Higher Education Commission Fiji director Dr Eci Naisele highlighted the importance of industry partnerships in shaping Fiji’s next generation of talent.

Dr Naisele raised awareness on career opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industries and encouraged students to pursue meaningful careers that contributed to the country’s economy and their own personal growth.

Cluster director human resources Fiji, Ana Nasilasila, said their goal was to inspire students to see hospitality as a rewarding and dynamic career path.

“We’re proud to partner with educational institutions and fellow organisations to create opportunities that build Fiji’s future workforce,” she said.

“The event concluded with interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and an engaging showcase of Hilton’s global career pathways, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to growth, development, and community connection.”

Cluster general manager Carey Osborne said they were honoured to be recognised as the number one hospitality company by Great Place to Work, “and today’s event was all about sharing that spirit with Fiji’s next generation”.

“We hope the career’s day inspired many to see the exciting possibilities that a career in hospitality can offer,” she added.

The event gave students a first-hand look into the many roles that make a world-class resort operate seamlessly.
