SHOULD there be a World War III, Fiji is one of the top 10 countries to escape to.
A report in the www.visiontimes.com ranked Fiji first among countries like Ireland, Malta, Denmark, Iceland and Chile as possible refuges.
The list was followed by Bhutan, New Zealand, Tuvalu, and Switzerland.
The report also named Fiji, New Zealand, Switzerland and Ireland as pretty special places to live in.
It further described these countries as ones where people would have a better chance of surviving an apocalyptic nuclear war. “While this is not the most cheery of subjects, if you currently live in any of those places listed we rate you already as being pretty lucky — war or no war,” the report said.
“Anyway, it’s all speculation and hopefully it’ll just remain as such. Fiji is great for vacation and if there was a worldwide conflict and the country could go about life as per usual that would be great but it would face some challenges.”
