Government is ramping up efforts to ensure no rural community is left behind, strengthening its presence and service delivery in the interior of Namosi.
Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Mosese Bulitavu visited the province this week, receiving briefings on Government operations at the Dada Government Station.
“Ensuring no community is left behind remains a priority, with efforts focused on keeping services accessible, responsive, and aligned with the realities on the ground,” the government statement read.
The visit underscores government’s continued push to stay connected with rural and interior communities while monitoring development progress and addressing ongoing challenges.
“Government continues to stay closely connected with rural and interior communities, with regular updates and on-the-ground engagement helping to guide service delivery and development,” the statement read.
Provincial administrator Namosi Laisenia Tui delivered updates alongside officials from the Fiji Police Force and the Ministry of Agriculture.
The agencies outlined ongoing work in community safety, agricultural support and essential service delivery across villages.
The engagement forms part of the broader government efforts to strengthen coordination among agencies while ensuring rural communities remain connected to national development priorities.
