As of December last year, Fiji’s registered voter count was 705,130, with numbers expected to increase as more Fijians register ahead of the 2026 General Election.

The Central Division has the highest number of registered voters with 306,860, followed by the Western Division at 263,644.

The Northern Division has 100,272, and the Eastern Division 25,118.

Additionally, 9280 voters residing overseas have also registered themselves.

Supervisor of Elections Ana Mataiciwa confirmed the latest figures on The Lens@177.

“We still have ongoing registration at the moment.

“We will release another stats later on in the year, but .. we will have to also factor in the ones that we’ve been registering from January till up to date.”

Ms Mataiciwa encouraged Fijians to register early.

“We expect this number to go up if Fijians start coming forward to register themselves.”
