Reduction in fuel and LPG product prices for month of May

Prices of unleaded petrol (motor spirit), premix, kerosene, diesel and LPG products are all going down for the month of May.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) has determined the new regulated price that come into effect at midnight tonight.

FCCC states the fuel and LPG product price review in Fiji follows a one-month lag period.

“Therefore, the local Fuel and LPG prices for May 2025 are based on Refined Fuel and Butane imports made by Fuel and LPG companies in March 2025,” said FCCC.

Motor spirit is going down by 8 cents per litre, premix is down by 7 cents, there is 6 cents decrease in the price of kerosene and diesel is also down by 7 cents.

There are 30 cents decrease in a 4.5kg gas cylinder while a 12kg cylinder will cost 79 cents less in May.

There is a 5 cents reduction in autogas price.
