Ratu Naiqama resigns as SODELPA vice president

SODELPA vice president Ratu Naiqaimama Lalabalavu has resigned from his position as party vice president with immediate effect.

He tendered his resignation today and addressed it to the president of the party Ratu Epenisa Cakobau and as well the party leader Viliame Gavoka.

Ratu Naiqama in his resignation letter said he was deeply disappointed and saddened to witness the current state of play whereby the disagreement with the party threatened unity within the vanua.

“The core foundation of our party based on Vanua solidarity has been undermined,” he said.
