Former Fiji under-20 prop Apolosi Ranawai has been named in the New South Wales Waratahs squad for the upcoming Super Rugby Australia competition.
The Northern Suburbs tight-head prop is the only Fijian in a squad of 32 players that boasts a blend of elite, academy and club players.
Of the 32, 17 are on full 2025 NSW Waratahs contracts, nine are from the Academy Pathway program and six have been chosen from Sydney’s Shute Shield competition.
Waratahs head coach Dan McKellar will oversee the programme.
Super Rugby AUS, a competition for Australia’s Super Rugby Pacific sides will run from September 12 to October 5 alongside the Super Rugby Men’s U19 competition.
