A teenager passed away on Thursday night after an accident near Togovere village in Rakiraki.
Aryn Jasmine Singh, a Year 9 student of Rakiraki Public High School was a passenger in a car.
She was travelling from Togovere village to Rakiraki town with family members. when the the driver had lost control of the vehicle which veered off the road.
There were four other occupants of the car.
On a social media post on the page of Rakiraki Public School, Aryn Jasmine Singh is described as a bright, kind-hearted, and spirited young sou.
“Her laughter, warmth, and determination will be deeply missed by her classmates, teachers, and the entire school community,” states the post.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who were touched by her life. May her memory forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.”
