Raiders, Sharks Blue put on dominant performance

The University of South Pacific (USP) Raiders and Police Sharks Blue teams have put on dominant performances in last Saturday’s Fiji National Rugby League Women’s (FNRLW) quarter-finals, setting up a thrilling semi-final this week.

The Raiders and Blue Sharks ran out 50 – 0 winners over their opponents, the Burenitu Cowboys and Ba Eagles respectively, setting up what is expected to be a thrilling semi-final tomorrow at Prince Charles Park.

In the other quarters, Yasawa Saints overcame Vusu Raiders 16 – 12, while Lami Steelers defeated Police Sharks White 15 – 6.

The Saints and Steelers will meet in the other semi-final this week Friday.

The inaugural FNRLW Premiership featured 11 clubs playing in the two state league in Fiji. The top four teams from each grade qualified for the National Finals series which will be played over three weeks.
