By MAIKELI SERU

AUSTRALIAN-BASED rugby league player Semi Radradra will appear at the Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday, July 5 after he was charged last week for alleged domestic violence offences.

He was served with an apprehended violence order upon his arrest on Thursday night on his return to Australia last week after spending a break in Fiji recently.

The Parramatta winger’s former partner, Perina Ting, alleged Radradra kicked her in the stomach while she was nine months pregnant with the couple’s daughter in 2014. Baby Luisa was born a few weeks later.

Ting, 7 News reported, made a complaint to Police about alleged offences that occurred between 2014 and 2015.

She filed a video report with police, alleging she had been assaulted a number of times over an eight-month period.

On Friday morning, NSW Police confirmed they had charged a 24-year-old man “following investigations into reports of domestic violence”.

Two other alleged incidents it is alleged Radradra punched Ting and pushed her against a wall.

The couple split in February.

Radradra was arrested after he disembarked his flight from Fiji and was reportedly taken to Mascot Police Station where he was questioned in relation to three allegations of domestic violence.

He was given conditional bail and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday July 5.

Radradra has reportedly denied the allegations by Ting.
