Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flyhalf Isikeli Rabitu will bolster Lautoka’s defense campaign in the Farebrother Challenge against Suva at Lawaqa Park tomorrow.

The 19-year-old former Suva Grammar School student played a key role in Lautoka’s 16-10 win over Nadi last week, scoring a try and converting two penalties for a personal tally of 11 points.

Lautoka head coach Peniona Ranitu confirmed that Rabitu is the only Drua player who will feature for the maroon-clad team and has integrated well during training sessions.

“Rabitu has been training in well with Lautoka and preparation has been good; we have our plan, and the players are putting in a lot of effort,” Ranitu said.

The Sugar City side is fully aware of the challenge posed by Suva in the upcoming match.

” We respect Suva, they are good team and we know they will come out hungry for a win,” he added.

“We urge our fans to show their unwavering support and cheer on our boys,” Ranitu added.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
