Update: 5:17PM GETTING high quality water tanks manufactured in Fiji to stringent overseas standards benefits everyone in the country, says Rotomould Group of Companies managing director Prakash Chand.
He said ROTA tanks, manufactured locally by Rotomould (Fiji) Ltd, were the first and only water tanks to be certified to international quality standards (AS/NZS 4766 standard) and the world renowned ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.
Mr Chand said his company had always been committed to providing high quality products for its customers.
“Receiving this international certification and quality mark is a formal recognition of the high quality standards we adhere to,” he said.
To celebrate the milestone achievement, the company will be hosting an event on Thursday at its premises at Wairabetia, Lautoka.
AS/NZS 4766 is an Australian and New Zealand Standard for polyethylene water tanks and the certification ensure tanks have been properly designed and manufactured to last the length of their warranty life.
