FIJI Public Trustee Corporation Pte Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with the Levuka Town Council that will focus on broadening access to estate planning and administration services for the local community.
The partnership seeks to simplify and promote awareness of essential future planning services through community-focused outreach and educational programs tailored for Levuka residents.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalised and signed last month.
Fiji Public Trustee board chairperson Liliana Warid said the MoU reflected a firm commitment to supporting the Levuka community by making trustee services more accessible and easier to understand for all families.
Council chairperson of special administrators Ben Naidu said the partnership represented a significant step forward in their efforts to provide holistic support to residents, extending beyond traditional municipal services to include financial and legacy planning resources.
Minister for Housing and Local Government Maciu Nalumisa commended the initiative saying it aligned with the Government’s goals of fostering inclusive development and empowering communities through collaborative public service delivery.
Both parties had also expressed their dedication to implement the MoU’s objectives and to deliver meaningful outcomes for the people of Levuka.
