Public invited to farewell late Health PS Dr. Jemesa Tudravu

Late Dr Jemesa Tudravu – SUPPLIED

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services has announced the funeral arrangements for the late Permanent Secretary, Dr. Jemesa Tudravu, inviting friends, colleagues, and members of the public to pay their final respects.

A condolence book will open tomorrow at 10am at the Dinem House Conference Room, 3rd floor, for those wishing to leave written tributes.

A memorial church service will follow on Wednesday, 31 December 2025 at 2pm at the Vodafone Arena, primarily for Ministry of Health staff.

The reguregu (traditional funeral gathering) will be held on Thursday, 1 January 2026 at Dr. Tudravu’s residence, Quarters 58, Amy Street, Suva.

The funeral service will take place on Friday, 2 January, 2026, beginning at 9am at Centenary Methodist Church, Suva, after which the burial will be conducted at the Lovonilase Cemetery.

The Ministry expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received, noting that Dr. Tudravu’s lifelong commitment to improving health services and the wellbeing of Fijians will be remembered with deep respect
