THE Miss Tebara Festival 2025 will offer one of the richest prize packages in a local pageant.
The organisers unveiled a reward line-up that includes international travel, domestic flights, resort stays and cruise experiences as the festival marks a significant milestone for both the community and its major sponsor.
The Punjas Miss Tebara winner will receive a return international flight with Fiji Airways to either Australia or New Zealand, a domestic return flight from Nausori to Nadi, a South Sea Cruises sailing package, accommodation and meals at Novotel Suva Lami Bay and a cash prize.
The first and second runners-up will also receive domestic return flights to Taveuni and Savusavu, South Sea Cruises Day-sail packages and accommodation prizes.
Reigning Miss Tebara, Beranadeta Ela Waqavanua said the platform had given her more than a title.
“More than just a crown, it has given me a voice, a voice to stand up for the values I believe in,” Ms Waqavanua said.
She encouraged parents and guardians to guide and motivate their children to aim high and never let circumstances define them.
“Never doubt your worth, your voice matters, you are strong, your dreams are valid, and your story deserves to be told,” she said in a message to young girls.
Punjas Group chief marketing officer Gopal Jadhav said Tebara was “a truly special festival which celebrated the proud provinces of Tailevu, Rewa and Naitasiri, coming together as a community”.
Marking Punjas’ 90-year anniversary, he said Miss Tebara Festival goes much beyond the branding point.
“It reflects a deep commitment to empowering young women, promoting culture and identity, and encouraging unity among these provinces,” Mr Jadhav said.
