Prime Minister in New Zealand for medical review

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka – SUPPLIED

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has travelled to New Zealand to undergo a scheduled medical review related to an old injury sustained during his rugby days.

A Fiji government statement said he is accompanied by his personal doctor, Om Prasad.

The statement did not specify the nature of the injury and the date of his return to Fiji.

During the Prime Minister’s absence, Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, will act as Prime Minister.
