STUDENTS at Toga District School were reminded to serve with heart and responsibility as the school inducted its new prefects last Friday.
The school’s lay preacher, Isireli Tuitoga, was the chief guest at the ceremony.
A total of 58 students were inducted, including two head prefects and two deputy head prefects.
Mr Tuitoga told the students they had an important role to play in supporting teachers and serving the school community.
“You have an important responsibility in helping the teachers and serving the school, and you should carry out your duties with all your heart,” he said.
Parents were present to badge their children as they stepped into their new leadership roles.
