ONE hundred and twenty students were officially inducted as prefects and ‘badged’ during the Nasinu Secondary School prefects’ induction ceremony at the school hall last week.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro was present at the ceremony and emphasised to the prefects the importance of vigilance and firmness in decision-making to become a good leader.
“There are real challenges you will face, such as the use of illegal drugs, fighting among students, and the negative influence of peer pressure,” Mr Radrodro said.
“Remain steadfast in your role, and always do the right thing, even in the face of opposition from your peers.”
