Post Fiji CEO Dr Anirudha Bansod has been terminated from the position by the board.

Post Fiji board chairman Isireli Leweniqila said there were a “few serious issues” that required a summary dismissal.

He didn’t give additional details.

“We made the decision yesterday (Wednesday) and he wasn’t feeling well, so I delivered the letter to him today (Thursday),” said Mr Leweniqila.

He also confirmed three senior executives have also been suspended pending an inquiry.

“Two of them are executives and the third one is in the lower category. We will appoint an independent committee to investigate the allegations against him.”

It is understood those on suspension are heads of human resources, finance and a payroll officer.

Mr Bansod couldn’t be contacted yesterday – he was appointed to the post in September 2019.

Head of Retail Marketing Isaac Mow is acting in the position of CEO.
