EXPECT the tempo of police operations to increase from today as the country looks forward to the festive season, marked by a surge in social activities.
Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu said police would beef up its operations during peak periods from December 15, 2025 to January 15, 2026.
“One of the focus areas in our operations is how we manage gatherings and our vigilance on the road,” he said.
“So, our operations beef up for the Christmas festivities and the New Year will start on Monday up until January 15.
“So, the whole of that month our concentration will be on our operations at the forefront,” Mr Tudravu said.
