POLICE are calling for public assistance as they work to identify the body of a woman discovered in Wainibuku earlier this week.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the victim has yet to be identified.
“Still yet to identify the victim, police are calling for public assistance,” she said.
The body was discovered near the riverbank and has since been conveyed to the Mokani mortuary in Tailevu.
Investigations are ongoing as police urge anyone with information to come forward.
