Police Reset initiative to proceed under new Police leadership

The Fiji Police Force will proceed with implementing the Police Reset program that was initiated by the former Minister responsible for Polie, Pio Tikoduadua.

The head of the Fiji Police Force Reset advisory team and former New Zealand Police Commissioner; Mike Bush yesterday met with the Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu.

Mr Bush said the team had begun its second and final round of consultations with​ members of the Fiji Police Force ​as well as external stakeholders.

He added the Reset​’s main focus was to provide practical guidance on how to implement the team’s recommendations, which are aimed at achieving excellence in law enforcement.

Commissioner Tudravu said he was keen to work with Mr Bush and his team.

The Reset initiative is supported by the Australian Federal Police.
