Police in Tavua have questioned a doctor on Monday following a complaint linked to alleged online harassment involving Ba football officials.
Fiji Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that an investigation is underway after a formal complaint was lodged by the Ba Football Association.
“Confirming an investigation is underway following receipt of a complaint from the President of the Ba Football Association,” Naisoro said.
Association president Praneel Dayal alleged that the doctor created fake online accounts used to harass Ba FA executives and players.
Police said investigations are continuing.
