A MAN alleged to have been involved in an aggravated robbery in Raiwaqa yesterday morning has been arrested and taken into police custody.
Police said the 23-year-old suspect, together with two others, were alleged to have assaulted and robbed a man outside the Milverton Rd Top Shop.
“The victim was waiting for a bus when the 23-year-old and two other men assaulted him and stole his watch and $9,” police said in a statement.
The matter was reported to police, and a team was deployed to search for the suspects.
The suspect was arrested along Nairai Rd and is currently being questioned at the Raiwaqa Police Station.
Police said the search for his accomplices is continuing.
