Police are investigating an accident in Denarau, Nadi, this morning where a staff service bus veered off a bridge and landed on its left side into a swamp.
The incident occurred at around 7:50am while the bus was heading towards a hotel in Denarau.
A total of 50 passengers were injured in the crash.
According to police, 43 passengers were rushed to Zens Medical Hospital in Nadi Town, while seven others were taken to Nadi Hospital for treatment.
Police say investigations into the cause of the accident are underway, and further details will be released once initial inquiries are completed.
