THE four victims of a fatal house fire at Valele, Ba, died from severe burns, police confirmed.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the cause of death was confirmed after a post-mortem examination.
She said the post-mortem examination was carried out on Wednesday.
The cause of the fire last Saturday is yet to be determined.
Ms Naisoro said they were still waiting on the National Fire Authority to complete their inquiry.
Two of the victims were laid to rest in Ba yesterday.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Rosy Akbar paid her respects during the funeral.

She said she was saddened by the news of their tragic deaths.
She added house fires were becoming more frequent and people should take extra caution to ensure their homes were kept safe from fires.
