POLICE Blue secured the 17th Fiji Bitter Savusavu 7s title with a dominant 22–5 victory over Y-IS Kava Vacalea at Ganilau Park.
Controlled possession and clinical execution allowed the unbeaten side to neutralise Vacalea’s attack in front of a passionate crowd.
First-time captain Akuila Dranivotua, 25, led the team to the trophy, credited the squad’s senior players for their guidance and trust.
Dranivotua highlighted the team’s discipline and commitment to their game plan as the defining factors in their successful tournament run.
