Fifteen drivers are spending their Mother’s Day in custody after they were arrested for drunk driving between 6am yesterday and 6am today.

Police said 13 of those arrests were made in the Western Division, and one each from the Eastern and Southern divisions.

Police also noted its concerns on what it described as a “worrying trend” with 180 traffic infringement notices issued for speeding.

“Don’t make this Mother’s Day a bleak one, slow down and don’t drink and drive,” it said.
