Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka will now find out reasons of why reinstated Director of Public Prosecutions Christopher Pryde has not returned to resume duties.
“I have expressed serious concern over the continued absence of the reinstated , who remains in New Zealand despite being reinstated on January 7, 2025.
“I will have to find out why he has not been called and whether it is a matter for the Constitutional Offices Commission to consider again.”
Mr Pryde was suspended in April 2023 following allegations. He was reinstated earlier this year but has not returned to resume duties.
